Let me share my sale shopping secrets with you. Today I am showing you my utility waistcoat

Let me tell you why I shopped this item and why you should too. This is the best time to go shopping. Sale everywhere and at the other hand all the new collections showing up in the stores. If you’re like me and you follow the trends, you know what to mix and match. Army is one of those colors which never gets out of fashion. It’s often combined in a casual look. The trends for next year -yes I am talking about Spring/Summer 2016- shows us lots of army colors mixed with pastels. Lots of utility styles with big pockets, natural fibres like linen and cotton. With this in mind I came across this great waistcoat and it’s on sale!

As Mango fits very small, I expected the same from Violeta by Mango. My suspicion was right. Where I normally wear a top side 46, sometimes 48 (UK 20) for this style I ordered a size XL which is a european size 50. By pulling the drawstrings at the waist you create a more shaped look. The cotton linen fabric makes it that it creases a little and that makes the waistcoat a lot more fun. I combined it with a viscose top, jeans with a washed effect en a statement necklace. Of course some high wedges, yes, even in the mud next to a horse.

I stopped caring what others think of me or my size. So yes, I wear my waistcoat with bare arms. You should try it to. Nobody is watching anyway. If you really can’t get over it, just wear a t-shirt underneath. My advise? A nice short sleeve shirt with a small turn up. Gives it even more a utility look. Though combine it with something feminine to keep the girly look.
