JustBIB fair Josine Wille 8 February 2015 Finally, all plus size brands together in one area. The JustBIB fair in Amsterdam was last week and I will sum up my favorites. I am used to attending such fairs as a product manager but not as a blogger. It was a different perspective. I have enjoyed it a lot, seeing all the plus size labels in one area is great. A few stood out for me and I will tell you why. Mat Seeing the whole collection for the first time surprised me, they have so many styles. Even better, I liked so many too. Within the collection they have a few themes in color and material. What stood out to me was a casual theme in black & camel which is of course very fashionable at the moment. What I also loved was the casual styles with sequins. Often these come out very festive but not these, because of the nice combinations in fabrics and color. The other trends I noticed here were the women’s suit translations and the embellished jeans. Carmakoma Classic styles turned into proper fashion for plus sizes is my interpretation of the Carmakoma collection. Pencil skirts with a touch of rock, body con dresses with flattering pleats and woolen jackets in unique shapes. So thrilled to find navy faux leather items, finally! Lovely pants and pencil skirt. I am in love. Zizzi & black label Another big collection with lots of great styles. In love I am with this faux fur waistcoat. I guess my preference for camel is really growing! But also the softer tones seen in the collection were really nice. The blouses and tops really spoke to me, since this is not always easy to find in a plus size. The black label is a small collection they launch once per year and it’s a fashionable range of black items. Influences of women’s suit and business wear. Veto Is this really true? A collection which looks like a regular size collection, but available in plus sizes? I am in love! So many lovely items to choose from, and the fabrics… oh my. Sand-washed satin blouses, viscose tops, grey melange sweats and the best washed jeans ever. The Veto collection is perfect! Anna Scholz for Sheego If you are into color and prints, you are at the right address. You could not walk by this collection without having a look. Bright red and pinks, combined with greens and blues. The right way. This is the place to go if you want some colorful spring dresses.
