Wintersport in the Austrian Alps in style, comfortable and sportive. Taking a stroll with view over the mountains and sunshine on my face The past week we were in Austria enjoying our wintersport, enjoying the snow in the Alps. We were so lucky with the weather, almost every day the sun was shining and at night we had fresh snow. This is what we needed! I would take strolls with Charlotte every day, soaking up the sun and breathing in the fresh air. We took the skilift up where we would meet up with our family to enjoy lunch and an amazing view. This time around I wasn’t wearing a ski suit every day so I took along some casual and comfortable outfits as well. Before I would just bring along my skigear and some outfits for dinner at night. Now that I’m not skiing each day I wanted to bring some more outfits, which I am wearing here. When I’m in the mountains I dress differently, I like sportive items as I’m so much more active. That’s why it also has to be more comfortable and at the same time look nice; because that’s just me. A dress or skirt is not really practical with the wind and snow but also picking up Charlotte and such. what am I wearing? The coat has a light padding so it’s warm enough but yet light weight. Here I am wearing a size 50 because a winter coat should fit spacious and should fit over a heavy jumper. Also it has to be comfortable and easy to move in so a bit bigger fit is fine. The coat is halfway the hips and there I do need a bigger size, compared to the upper side. It has a herringbone dessin in black and white. Because of the messy stripe effect it almost looks like a pied the poule, my fave! This Norwegian style jumper I am wearing underneath is a typical wintersport style. As I want it to have a loose drape, I am wearing a size 48/50 EU though it fits a bit smaller in my opinion. The fun thing about this jumper is that I have always wanted it when I was younger and now I’ve finally got one. Underneath the jumper I am wearing a roll neck, I love layering up. It’s a regular collection from H&M and I am wearing an XL. The pants are faux leather in beige, I absolutely love this style. It’s a high waist and has a belt; something I never liked wearing before. Up the mountain it can be cold so this material is perfect because it wears quite warm. I’ve paired it with these warm winter boots; these are lined with faux fur. And a plus; they fit over my high and wide feet. coat c/o Happy Size, Janet & Joycejumper c/o Happy Size, Janet & Joyceroll neck H&Mtrousers Primarkshoes anwb this was my ski outfit in size UK20 ski gear Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...
