blown away [outfit] Josine Wille 7 March 2020 In the Dutch city Harlem, in the middle of the market I was making blog photos. Something I was afraid to do in the past and now don’t even bother to. The wind didn’t agree though. A typical outfit for me, a dressed down wrap dress with a dash of preppy A weekend without plans is what we needed. So we decided to go to Harlem, a city near our place as we were searching for shoes for baby Charlotte. We didn’t find the right shoes but I did manage to shoot photos again. It’s been a while as it’s just not on my priority list nowadays (sorry!). We had a lovely lunch and took a look on the market, which is really big with lots of delicious food stalls and beautiful flowers. And yes, we bought both. This house in the background is one of my favorites on the square so I wanted to shoot here, but there were lots of people and even more wind. “not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path“ The wind blows really made it difficult to make great photos but then again it does show how wonderful the drape of the dress is. Even though my have in my face and the dress wrapped around my body on some photos, but all together you can see the whole look. Just a little extra improvising There was a truck parked which I used to escape the wind, didn’t really work out. Dennis and I had a blast making the photos because we’re so used to it. This wasn’t always like this, it used to be scary even to me. Charlotte was really sweet and for those ten minutes looking at us what we were doing. what am I wearing? Do you know the feeling that when you put on a new dress and you start to smile? This is when you know this is going to be your new favorite. It’s a size 48 and fits to size. The dress is made of jersey crepe and has a nice drape because the fabric is slightly heavier but not dense. It’s a wrap dress but it’s more a faux wrap as only the top part has an overlay. The skirt-part is fixed and the belt is also fixed onto the dress. It should be wrapped towards the front but I folded it backwards because of the fannypack. To be honest I am not a real fan of cleavage so I like to wear high necklines. Because of this I wear a top underneath, which has a lace insert to the top and a small standing collar. Wearing tops like this underneath a dress you can vary in so many ways. Making it more dressed with a satin blouse, preppy with lace like I did or casual with a t-shirt. The fannypack made to fit it of real leather and I love how it makes my outfit more casual. Plus it’s perfect to have my phone and money close. Black sometimes can be a bit harsh so I’m wearing a dark brown color tights. I’ve made a review vlog about these tights by the way, the link to my YouTube channel is below. You can see for yourself how they fit my size UK20-22. The Western boots are my favorite as well and I wear them so often because of the lower heel. It’s a miracle that I found them (even during my pregnancy!) as it was just in a boutique shop and nothing wide fit. dress Annalisa c/o navabitop Sara Lindholm c/o Happy Sizetights snagtightsboots boutique shopfannypack c/o monsak do you follow me on instagram?
