Yesterday we celebrated our King’s birthday and it was great! This is what I was wearing on King’s Day.
First you should know that our national color is orange. This year I decided to do it differently. The colors of our flag is red, white and blue and you see this everywhere in the streets. So this was my color combo, of course with a dash of orange!
Although it looks very sunny it was terribly cold, especially in the shadow! But nothing a little dancing can’t fix to keep us warm. During this day the country is partying. All is decorated in orange, or red, white and blue. There is music everywhere, kids on the streets selling their stuff and bars open. If you are ever planning to come over to Holland, make sure it’s during the end of April.
I am wearing a red biker jacket from MS mode, underneath a white t-shirt from H&M, almost vintage. The skirt is from the current Primark collection and when wearing high wasted it creates a waistline, plus I fit in it. The 60 den tights are from Ulla Popken, as I love their fit. The little waist belt is very cute and I bought it at the last Curvy High Tea.
