Oh how I would love to finalize my bucket list and say Hello Japan
Can you have a bucket list without knowing you have one? As I kid I didn’t have much I really, really wanted except for traveling. When I would pass by a traveling agency and saw all the available airline tickets listed I knew I wanted to go there: Bankok, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Well the first two I visited many times already, but Tokyo I haven’t been to. Hopefully soon I can say “Hello Japan”. So how is this related to Japan? The new DIDI collection is all about Japan and I am in love with this collection. The colors, the shapes, everything. DIDI is a Dutch retailer who sells women’s fashion from XS-XXL (size 46-48 or UK 18-20) and also has a cute girls collection (4-12 years). For the past six months I work here as a product developer and I just had to show you how to shop your shape, not your size.
Every day I have new developments and production styles in my hands so I always know what’s coming. Sometimes I just fall in love with a garment during the development and this blouse was one of them. The gracious shape, fitted at the waist and wide at the rounded hem really complements any figure. The fitted collar and the long sleeves with slit makes it elegant. Not always do I fit in this brand, but like I always say, just give it a try.
What am I wearing? It’s all about the blouse. This light viscose fabric is slightly transparent but because of the print you can’t see through. Here I am wearing the biggest size which is an XXL. The blouse is also available in two other print options (a light blue and a black/white, click the link below to see all details). I am wearing a faux leather jacker over it which has a big collar. I have shopped this blazer already last year, but I have found an alternative too. Check out the link below. The jeans are from last season and is a black denim with heavy wash. I prefer to wear a skinny jeans because I want the accents on the blouse. The brown boots I shopped on sale at New Look during my shopping trip in Antwerp.
